Commitment to Others, Not Service to Self
Though the 2020 election is over our effort has not ended. We will continue to move forward to continue the fight to implement the changes needed to give the citizens of Citrus County the level of law enforcement they so richly deserve.

Changes in the way the CCSO does business are necessary. We cannot continue to have situations such as the failure to cooperate with the Board of County Commissioners on budgetary matters. The on-going refusal to work in equal partnership with the school system is another example of the failure of the current administration to grasp its responsibility. Another issue that must be addressed is the preference of education over experience for agency personnel. I would much rather depend on someone who has “been there and done that” than someone who has “been there and read about it”. There are many other issues that must be addressed and thus the reason in the need for a change in leadership.
Civilian law enforcement experience is a necessary characteristic needed of any candidate for Sheriff. Saying that military law enforcement experience is the same thing is far from true. Having served in both military and civilian law enforcement I know they are not the same thing. Not only is the manner of service different, but the motivation and management of the personnel are not the same either. So please join our campaign so we can put the CCSO back on the right track. I invite you to browse our website and find out more about our campaign. I suggest that citizens keep their focus on the details of how the administration manages the agency in the coming years. Do not turn a blind eye to the failures we have seen over the last four years. Do not choose party over substance. You deserve better.
